"Thy fearful symmetry"

Films: Burning Bright (2010)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average tiger.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Some people come up with the weirdest ideas to get their hands on whatever benefits come from losing their family members. Some play the waiting game, others simply don't care, and some will not only kill to get what they want, but they'll do it horrifyingly. And what's a more awful way to dispose of your family than unleashing one of the deadliest jungle cats ever onto them?

History: Johnny Gavenue is a horrible man, that much is certain. He has a thing for big cats, works for a circus, but his contributions end there. He killed his girlfriend and frequently abuses her children, to the point of cutting off the eldest daughter's funds for the sake of owning a tiger that's supposedly pure evil, hence the title of Lucifer. But there's a reason Johnny got that tiger. He's put together a plan that will force the two youngsters into a house all boarded up, while he sneaks Lucifer into the place to finish them off. Now, the poor girl and her autistic brother are thrust into a fight for survival.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After Johnny reveals his plan to the girl, Lucifer suddenly turns on his master, breaks his spine, and drags him away to be mauled and eaten. As sister and brother walk away from the carnage, the tiger is still at large, hopefully getting as far away from civilization as possible.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-A tiger is not just some Asian version of a lion. It is larger, stronger, and a thousand times more aggressive than its African cousin. Lucifer is no exception, as he hunts his targets down with the ferocity and patience of a human murderer. It doesn't help that, much like in "Maneater" from last decade, the tiger is real. And this time, there's hardly even a shred of computer effects at work.

Trivia: -Lucifer was played by three tigers. They were Katie, Schicka and Kismet.

-Despite being real tigers, none that played Lucifer actually shared space with the main actors. Because when your actors are a couple of youths for the most part, chances are that child services will destroy you for putting them in the line of sight of a masterful predator.

If you see the CGI model, anyway.

Once one pounces, kiss your sternum goodbye.

Every kid's dream is about to become a nightmare.

Didn't we already deal with this during Maneater?
But what about the rumble?
